Since I figured out a few months ago that I'm an aspie, I've been a tourist here. Reading through the treads has helped pull me out of the dark direction my thoughts were taking me over the last couple of years. I believe that not knowing about Asperger's for my entire life and struggling to conduct myself as an NT is what was pushing me towards becoming a complete sociopath. Now that I understand exactly why I've always had difficulty with social interaction, I no longer see everyone as a complete manipulative liar. The majority of people can't help it. They are too scared to say what is exactly what is on their mind. Very few people are deliberately using everyone around them. It's likely most who do become successful politicians.
Anyway, I appreciate everyone here sharing their thoughts and I hope that sharing mine can be as helpful to someone or everyone else.
I used to feel very very similiarly. I'd also like to point out you can't become a complete sociopath. You are either born apsychopath or sociopathy develops during childhood.
