How would you react in a fight (fight as in a physical confrontation, not verbally)?

I can't throw and was never taught to throw a punch to save my life, so I'd be better off getting away from the situation when the chance strikes. Well, if worse came to worse and I knew I stood a chance...but still...

Depends on how large the person is and what my chances are in rendering them harmless.

I probably wouldn't get into a fight in the first place, just because it's not really in my nature, but if I had to, I'd rely on my martial arts training.

I've only been in a fight once. I avoid physical contact with people in general, and I am highly averse to punching someone or making other aggressive moves. I can have poor control when angry, and it scares me. I kicked the crap out of another kid in 6th grade after he kept provoking me and I had a severe meltdown on him. I didn't like it.

Heh, martial arts....I remember way back when I was given the opportunity to take free classes, then voted out of it because it was one of those Christian based things.....stupid choice

I normally get caught by surprise and try to avoid confrontation, but if I had to fight, my height and Aspie rage would probaly come in handy, as well as my belief in fighting dirty.

At your age you should be long past the typical school yard fights.

As an adult if anyone physically attacked me on the street, I would consider it a life or death matter and not rely on punches to save my self.

I would attempt to improvise any weapon I could and inflict a serious wound that would end the situation as fast a possible.

I, under almost all circumstances, would run or (if not possible) crawl into a ball on the floor and cower in fear. Only under very rare circumstances, if angered, would I physically fight back.

I like to fight because I am good at it. I don't have an emotional reaction but I can see the other person making mistakes because of theirs. I can react with logical precision to their attacks. I have been like this since I was 13 and got beat up before then. I guess that is when I realized getting hit does not hurt very much, and I can ignore a few blows. I retired from the military and still participate in martial arts.

I normally try to walk away from fights because I am afraid of hurting others. I pick my battles wisely and only fight when it is morally justified. I really enjoy when I manage to block the initial wave of a bullies attacks and then he realizes his mistake of picking on me.

I just run away, as fast as I can, because I don't believe in hurting people.

I would be noncommital for as long as possible, but once committed, I wouldn't hold back at all. I would probably use excessive force.

depends on he situation...

there have been times where I just go crazy and lose control..

but if there is a big group against me I will run,

my mind just goes into flight mode when I see an angry crowd =/

In the past I held to the tried and tested tactic of "roll over and die". Basically, I became a punching bag until my assailant had enough or someone else stopped the fight.

However that was during my school years, in the only "adult" fight I've ever been in I went straight for the jugular, literally. A few quick jabs to the throat gave me enough time to run away.
