Does fame scare you? Admitedly, famous authors an scientists don't have t go through all the scrutiny that famous actors and singers have to go through, but would being famous in your discipline scare you? How would you cope?

In my discipline, it wouldn't matter much, as I'd just be a name on a screen. I wouldn't ever want to be a celebrity though. I have enough trouble walking down the street without people I don't even know bugging me.

I'm not too worried about becoming famous... unless I'd publish some of the stuff I've written... if I did become famous I think I'd get sick a lot.

I'd like to be famous under a pseudonym.

I practically am famous at school, unfortunately.

I want to be rich. If I become famous in the process, that's cool but I am not chasing it. And if it happens, I'm fairly good at keeping people at arms length so I don't perceive I'd have much trouble.

Not like super-stardom famous, where no one leaves you alone. I would rather be famous for something on a smaller scale, like maybe setting a world record or something. :chin:

it used to for me, but then i became better known and it wasn't a big deal.

"the more famous you are the more money you make". its a simple choice.

I'd rather be a famous writer than a famous actor. Only superstar writers like Stephen King and J. K. Rowling have to worry about fans and reporters recognizing them on the street.

No. I actualy aspire to become a famous veternarian someday. Basicaly so I can make all my bullies eat their words and eat their hearts out. The only thing that scares me about it is that people will compare me to Temple Grandin.

I wouldn't mind it at all. Whatever path my life has, I'll take it.

I don't know if I could handle that......but intrestingly enough I feel like I could make a good comedian and if I were to I imagine fame could follow. But then there is the whole not doing well in front of crowds....though people tell me I say really hilarious things I have my doubts that I could come up with enough hilarious things to say.
