In order to better serve the majority of our users, WrongPlanet.net is now officially endorsing Firefox as our official browser. I used to not even use Firefox, but thats because I'm a mac user and mac users are really weird and do things "different." However, Firefox the best browser out there so I reccomend that everyone here uses it.

Using Firefox will greatly improve your WrongPlanet.net experience.

We are also proud to announce a partnership with Google and the Firefox Foundation. For every user who downloads and installs firefox/Google toolbar through our referall banner, Google will donate one dollar to WrongPlanet.net.

Here's your chance to help out WrongPlanet.net without worrying about spending any money!

Are there any other reasons to switch from Opera?

Couldn't have picked a better browser in my opinion.

I was actually reading an article about firefox,on BBCI text (sci-tech section) today,11.5% of the world population is now using firefox.
4.9% of UK and 14.1% of America are using firefox instead of the monstrosity known as IE.

alex, what about updates? I already use Firefox, but I would love to help WP every time I update Firefox.

I have it now, but until it can import from Safari I won't use it. That is coming, their site says. :!:

Firefox is an awesome browser! Although I had a problem yesterday where my computer would freeze up everytime I'd try to download something with firefox. Anyways that is great to hear that google is donating money to WP!

I already have Forefox, but would gladly download a new copy. Has firefox fixed the problem with Norton Antivirus freezing it up? I've looked for Trend Micro, but can't find it anywhere. :(

Firefox for teh win.

I hope firefox teams up with google to become the official google browser (to go with Google mail and Google Talk), paving the way for Google OS (which, I would assume, would derive from Linux, but run windows programs perfectly well....)

WP + Firefox = Wahey!

Firefox's Adblock extension is the sole reason I use Firefox instead of Opera. It's an incredibly useful piece of software.

To be honest I couldn't care less.

I use internet explorer. If anyone can tell me any valid reasons why something else is better, please do.

Some reasons why to use Firefox Less chances of unwanted programs firefox has no activex one way ppl get them. Firefox can copy and use the files from IE book marks, cookie etc. A lot fewer bugs in the program. You can try firefox it will not do anything to your IE settings. And last it's faster
