Inappropriate Laughing, anyone else with this problem?

Guess we all have that "thing" in our minds that makes us all laugh.
Even though I would be uspet if someone laughed at me whilst I fell over, I feel bad afterwards but I can't help but try not to laugh when I see someone fall over.


My brother has severe autism and he doesn't understand emotions and how to deal with them, when our cat died years ago and we told him, even though he looked upset, he did a nervous laugh and people who don't know him, would've thought that was evil of him to respond like that.

I'd guess it's another classic symptom of autism, inappropriate laughter.

Btw I too don't know what a bed sham is, in response to the comment above. I only have a bed sheet,duvet, bed throw, cushions and pillow.

Btw to another response up above, I too find harry hill funny. I like stupid humour without the over the top slapstick.

All the time. And the worst part is that I'm always powerless to stop it. I'll try to stop it, but that will only make me laugh more. So I just have to deal with it until I eventually stop.

And it's weird, but one thing that tends to make me laugh the most is silence. If I'm in a silent room surrounded by a bunch of people, I often can't help but laugh (I don't do this by myself, only around other people). No idea why this is, but it's quite embarrassing.

Same here. Often I am laughing at my own funny thoughts, and the person near me might think I'm laughing at them. Other times I just laugh awkwardly, like a nervous reflex, because I can't think of anything to say. I'm always getting stared at because of it.
