Just throwing it out there. When chimpanzees smile it can be a sign of fear. Since then I guess we've devolved.

I find it really difficult and uncomfortable to smile, and when I do I just end up looking like a ret*d.

mother always said "smile, open your lips when you smile, now, smile!!" year after year, decade after decade. I have a mouth exactly 1.8 inches wide and it streches to a whole 2.2 inches when I do my grimace that passes for a smile. Dentists have real problems getting into my mouth. When I smile my lips don't do much, don't turn up or anything. If anything, the apples of my cheeks bulge and my eyes crinkle into slanted slits. I am cheerful and sparkly eyed, but I don't smile often.

When I smile in a photo I look like a particularly intricate letterbox - NO WAY does that EVER show up on the web...

Perhaps you have missed what this site is about and who it is supposed to support?? Without US you wouldn't even be needed. I've noticed you come into abuse your power and pick on only those standing up against the initial meanspirited comments and bullies.

Maybe you shouldn't be a mod here anymore if you have forgotten this place is to support members with autism. You are taking sides and doing it "boldly".

I don't think you should stay here if you are going to continue to abuse your powers. There are plenty of people who would be less biased and do a better job than you.


You've done this on several occasions. Maybe you have forgotten that without all of us who post here, this site would be very boring. If you continue to abuse your moderator privelages, I'm sure there are more than a few people who are getting fed up of your obvious one-sided and not in support of what this site is designed for attempts of portraying what a bully you really are.

Bullies stand up for bullies. There are people here who could do a much better job than you and understand what kind of support site this is.

I am capable of learning and self improvement. Unlike 99% of people on this board.

Well I have the courage to say this under my regular ID.

I am not comfortable with "sinsboldly" as a moderator, so much so that I hardly ever post here any more.

She is too dictatorial. That is common on other sites, and maybe even works there, but there reason WP worked so well for years was because there was only pretty passive moderation. Aspies clash badly with dictatorial authority.

For me, she has brought the interpersonal politics I cannot handle in the rest of the world into the sanctuary of WP and completely changed the atmosphere of the site for me from one where we threw ideas around, and any conflict found it's own level and resolved itself, to a place where I feel I must watch over my shoulder for situations where I either have to "submit to the authority of sinsboldly" or ship out, and I am sorry, but I cannot submit to the authority of sinsboldy, she isn't right often enough for that...so, on the whole I "ship out"...

...and I really do not care if she bans me for saying this...might as well get it over with...not least because what is the point in being able to post here at all if I cannot post what I really feel in support of someone else?

I'm confused, GreenDinosaur. How is it that you speak for the majority of members of this site, many of whom have been actively supportive for years, when you have just joined today?

What gives you any right to attack, not just a member, but a moderator, who spends a large amount of her time on that task (as do I, and several others).

We recognise that that is also with the assistance of many other members. Between us, we make WP the support site it has been, is, and will continue to be.

I find it rather offensive that you repeatedly talk of "us", when you are clearly not entitled to use that term.

What gives me the right to attack others? I'm not attacking no more than the original poster and if you didn't see, Sinsbodly didn't make a peep about the OP but has time and time again repeatedly went after those who are defending themselves or someone on the spectrum.

Why should I treat her with respect if she's going to treat people who come here for support with disrespect and honor those who come here to act like trolls with immunity?

Being a mod doesn't give rights to treat people this way and apparently she thinks it does so if this keeps up and someone doesn't either have words with her or take away her moderator status that she is abusing then people who come here for support won't want to stick around.

The only ones left will be those who come here to bash autistics.

I'm bemused. You told use that you would never visit WP again, while Merle was here. You failed to adhere to that last time. If anything, it would seem you are posting more frequently.

I'm not seeing any reason why we should ban you. If you find you are unable to tolerate other members, you could just do what you say, and stay away?

Well, except in a few details (and I have never been a fan of generalisation to be honest, I prefer the "I" word to the *us* word every time), Green Dinosaur was certainly speaking my mind...

...and if anyone thinks for one minute of accusing me of creating "Green Dinosaur" as a sockpuppet they can think again, because I am snowed in here, with access to only one Irish Broadband provider...I can prove that, and I would be very surprised if he was posting from the same IP!

I have felt uncomfortable witrh "Sinsboldly" for a long time, and, so far, when I feel uncomfortable that way, I have never been wrong...I just didn't expect anyone else to see it for ages yet, so I said nothing to anyone except Sinsboldly herself...but when someone else sees it, I see no choice but to support them.

Not smiling does not equate to looking like a "freak". It takes a lot more than not smiling to look like a "freak". Take it from someone who considers herself to be "freakish".

And most of us are, in fact, capable of learning and "self improvement". But some of us have other priorities than looking non-freakish, and some of us just don't give a damn what other people think of how we look.
