Accused of being an alien

I have been thrown out of the human race on three separate occasions by three separate individuals without contact with one another. My nickname in school was Spock, as was my father's nickname in college. When I play D & D, I never play humans because I can't relate to them. I play just about everything else, although I'm partial to elves.

It's kind of hard to think of myself as human, as many aspects of "human nature" I simply don't possess. It's harder to think of myself as human as the other humans don't really think of me that way either. I don't fit into the human box. Sometimes I don't think I fit into the Aspie box. I'm just a mutant, I guess.

It's not so bad not belonging. I've done it all my life, and I expect I shall continue to do so forever. I wouldn't let it worry me if I were you.

Alien and proud of it! Actually a counselor once told me she thinks I'm an Indigo Child. I had to look that one up. Something about being sent from the creator to help the world.... on Wikipedia it explains it and the last sentence said... Asperger's Syndrome. LOL!! !! !! So I guess you know you're strange when a counselor says you're not exactly human, on the other hand, I prefer to think of her as a total nut job!

I think most school counselors are nut jobs ..

I think we're Asgard (Stargate SG1) hybrids, their way of thinking/speaking is very similar to mine.

Ive been accussed of being from the planet "Zorg" at work, not sure where the planet Zorg resides, but the accussers even felt the need to buy me a toy alien person that made a funny noise when you squeezed it.
I was going to use it as a doorbell but procrastination got the better of me, (as usual).

I've definitely been told I was an alien, but I used to wonder if perhaps I really was. Most of the dreams I have take place in very alien looking places. Around 18 I got into reading channeled books from aliens such as the Pleiadians and Kryon. I even have a very strange dream that perhaps I'll go into later.

One of my neighbor's kids claimed I was an alien when I was 12. I think he was lying and trying to upset me. His new friend also said the same but I doubt he believed it and was just saying to be mean.

Or maybe the NT's are the ones from another planet!

It's still happening to me even now at age 40+. I don't know what people I meet casually think, but friends continue to see me as alien, from Vulcan to Cylon, depending on their knowledge of scifi.

Unfortunately for me, I suffer from not only major sensory issues but also several obvious physical and physiological differences. That only adds to the impression.

It happened to me as well. Especially in secondary school. Even a bus driver said that he wouldn't drive to my home planet.

When I was 12 a girl demanded proof that I was human and asked if I had green blood. I didn't realise she was semi-joking so I took out my scissors and made a small cut on my hand so I could show her that I had red blood just like her.

I don't recall ever being called an alien. Usually it's one of the following, or some combination:

"Scary."
"Not right."
"Cold."
"Abnormal."
The guy that ends up getting on the news and described as, "He was quiet, kept to himself."
Some reference to me being computerized or robotic in some way. Example: I was checking an unlabeled CD to see if anything had been recorded on it by looking at the surface, and a co-worker said, "I can hear the bionic zoom lens in your eye focusing."

I've also been asked, fairly frequently, "How do you know this stuff?!" when I explain something.

I think this was awesome in a strange way.

So they're implying that you're akin to a serial murderer because you're quiet. That would hurt my feelings terribly.

Faulty reverse logic like this is so common. "Serial killers are often quiet loners, therefore all quiet loners are serial killers."

I think it's because people want to believe their stereotypes. They also don't understand the basic logical precepts of cause-and-effect.

You're not the first.

I guess I can see that. I just get a little touchy when people say or do things that make me feel "less-than-human" or "other-than-human."



Mine, too. Then again, some people seem to act as if I don't have feelings so it probably wouldn't even occur to them.
