Do you eavestdrop on people?

I do this as well, and I've also noticed people seem to say personal things to other people even though i'm within earshot. I think people must think I'm a bit stupid or something, and that I won't understand what they're talking about... but I do... oh yes... I know

So when you eavesdrop on conversations that take place near you with a group of people, do you intentionally either,
1) pretend to be reading something while listening to conversation
2) pretend to be texting while listening to conversation
3) be occupied with your thoughts and watch people's movements out of the corner of your eye

There are devices available that help the would-be eavesdropper get started on this interesting special interest. I have seen them advertised on TV.

In my own experience, I immediately turn my head toward anyone having a conversation and I give the game away, so the conversers stop talking.

Sometimes by accident and sometimes on purpose.Sometimes, in order for us to stay within the loop as to what the cliques are saying behind our backs, we must use alternate means to get such since they seem to be keeping us out of it.It is also a good way to catch wind and be prepared to defend ones self agains vicious gossip attacks.Just as a military must covertly gather intel as to what the enemy is plotting, aspies must do the same with NeuroNazis (bad NT's...Not all NTs are bad so I classify the bad ones as NeuroNazis) in order to plan a defensive strategy or a counter attack against the gossippers.
