Night time alone does seem somewhat dangerous, but was it 2 miles of rural road and no streetlights or 2 miles of city streets, busy traffic, full of street lights? The latter is a lot less dangerous.

I don't usually think of how dangerous things are so that might not be a good thing :?

I did a fair number of potentially dangerous things - walking home at 1:00 AM in London, half sleeping at 1:00 AM in Grand Central Station, experimenting while burning the trash [it was legal in that place and time] with various liquids found in the garage, and others too numerous to mention. But I think it had more to do with young punk ignorance and stupidity than my particular traits. I happen to know that my sister - the most NT of the family - did at least as much stuff at least as bad in her younger days.

I sometimes have a state of hyperawareness and it's mostly involving either potential situations on the road while driving, or a simple undirected feeling of something in the vicinity (or someone) is dangerous. Sometimes the source isn't close enough for me to specify in my suspicions.

I used to enjoy sport parachuting and hang gliding. I took lessons from knowledgeable instructors. I was very careful and never had an accident or injury. I felt free to try these things because I researched them thoroughly and stayed within my abilities and limits of environmental conditions. I was the one in control of my safety. I didn't have to worry about other people who could affect my safety. That is why I feel less safe on my daily commute driving my car than I did jumping or hang gliding.

Other drivers and even pedestrians are harder to predict than flying conditions, so I usually feel nervous while driving. Most people take driving safety for granted because it is done so often. That makes it even more dangerous.

That would be it for me as well.

It was low before, but after getting attacked it has become very high. It manifests in the form of me always looking round to make sure I don't get blindsided.
