What separates are interest from NT interest?

Well, the most correct answer would be "our other Aspie traits" because without those, an Aspie interest wouldn't be an Aspie interest (can't be diagnosed without multiple traits).

I think the unusualness of some of the topics and the depth at which those topics are studied is what distinguishes it.

I've been fortunate in my interests. I am obsessed with connecting the data into a coherent whole and seeing all the relationships. As disorganized as I am, my view of the universe is very ordered.

All I can really contribute is my interests are less a passing thing than an integral part of my personality. I think we're natural existentialists in that we are defined by our choices and our views.
