I also do everything slowly and correctly. I try to get everything right the first time so I don't have to do it again. I try to do everything cleanly and neatly so I wouldn't have to clean up any mess. Most of the time I found myself as efficient as other people who storm through things and make a whole lot of noises. I talk slowly and clearly, too so people can understand easily and not ask me "what did you say?" I highly value efficiency and people who gets lots done without much talking or bragging.

I think this is genetic however and nothing to do with AS. Got it from grandma, who passed down to my dad, him to me and me to my little son. We're all the same type, slow and extremely careful.

Everything in my life is "turbo charged" except for when I'm studying. I am impatient with house chores, job chores, relaying information to people, etc. I guess that I feel compelled to spend more time in and around my interest and anything outside of this is wasted time. I am not lazy and am very neat, but when I tend to non-interest things, I have a lack of desire and have even learned to gain amusement by strategizing and executing. Bosses love me, but I can be very clumsy if I lose focus.
