Yes you did but now I revive it :P

Figuring out I am an aspie was a relief for me. It made me understand myself better, know my limits. Thus I dont try to look normal or fully social now, no tiresome efforts and no dissappointments. I am in a more peaceful relationship with myself.

The bad part was the first 3-4 days I had it figured. It was a mild shock, but also I felt depressed to learn that I have a condition that is on the autism spectrum. Now I dont mind that. I have a lively imagination, a high perception of self. It doesnt matter if I look awkward or robotic to the outside.

So I think that having learned to have aspergers cant be a bad thing in the long term. It doesnt introduce a new problem, It is just an explanation. It could be alot worse, as I first thought that I had schizophrenia when I was 14 in boarding school. I kept believing it till I was 20. If I compare myself to that period, I am much more happier and hopeful now.
