I don't know how to be more NT in that respect. I can't handle touching. I tolerate it from my husband but even that's limited as I have a low threshold. I have no desire to change that about me. Maybe a social skills book could give you some ideas. I saw a study once that had diagrams according to culture as to where it's permissible to touch. I can't remember the details, but maybe Google could turn something up. Maybe search "social touching cultures" or something like that.

lol. Yes, there tends to be an inordinate amount of "hijacking" of threads on the forums. I had done it sometimes because I didn't have the time/energy to create and then moderate my own. (It's just too darn tempting to use somebody else's work. :( )

To the OP: the closest thing I have ever found is buried in the middle of this book: http://www.amazon.com/dp/0195126017/
It's not much, but it's better (from a scientific viewpoint) than anything else I've seen.

I'm considering making a presentation on this next week. If I do, I'll post it on here. (My plan is to get a few "interested parties" who will lobby me to take the time to keep my findings up-to-date. I find it too easy to prioritize something else if I don't have somebody breathing down my neck.)
