What kind of troubles come with having Autism? I've read some stuff about having 'meltdowns' what exactly are they like? I freak out every so often, but idk if I meltdown.. What does it mean?

I need time to think on the answer to that.

So I typed out this whole post that ended up sounding a bit like Fitter Happier by Radiohead in intonation, but then I realized if you have to ask that type of question, you're likely not clinically impaired so getting a diagnosis in your case is futile.

It's not like we're ret*d or anything. You just think/act differently than other people. Besides, what makes you so sure that your brain is broken? How do you know that it's not NT's who's brains are broken?

No, as far as I know I have no skills. I just go through phases of interests that tend to fade and don't last long enough to fine tune anything. The only interest that I have that doesn't fade is old video games, but I don't see how any good can come from fine tuning that.

Well in another of your posts you said you repaired a few old video game machines?

Ebay is a great tool for you...also some of those old video games are worth money.

Friend of mine said he has a michael jackson game that is worth $100 now?

But with emulators on the computer it is a little hard to market that.

The cartridges themselves would probably be worth more than the systems unless you found brand new ones unopened....

What kind of machines are we talking about? Like ones you would see in an old arcade? Or home machines like sega, NES, atari etc....

The old arcade ones are pretty valuable, least that's what they give the imrpession of on TV...everytime they bring in an old arcade machine on that pawn show it's usually worth quite a bit.

lol, yeah, I think I'm addicted to eBay. I'm constantly searching and adding things to my watch list. But usually I can hold on to my money for a while before I blow it on something stupid.

I pretty much like any old video games. From arcade machines to the playstation 1. Basically anything thats between 8-bit - 64-bit.

I never really finished the arcade machine I was building. I just need a few more parts, but I can't fine anyone online who has them. And even the people who do say they have them end up just not responding or something. After all the money I put into this thing I won't be able to make much. I don't even know what made me think it was a good idea. I don't even like this specific game that I'm building.

I am not much for gaming..but I would build gaming computers and use them for awhile and sell them...atleast then it's not hard to find parts.

I am in the process of getting A+ certification, though I haven't been studying at all due to my job (no longer have) and before that school. However since I will have alot of down time after my move on saturday I am going to start studying and hopefully get the A+ certification, hopefully enabling me to get some jobs in the field.

How much have you put into that arcade machine if you don't mind me asking?
And what game is it?

The only valuable game I have that I know is atleast a little valuable (maybe) is the gold cartridge for zelda for NES. Got it at goodwill, pretty cool- but I don't have the case for it.

My nintendo never works though...no matter how many times I blow on the cartridges =(

Actually, I do enjoy building computer. I've built two for myself before, but as far as I can tell it's hard to re-sell them after you've used them. But overall, I know a good bit about building computers and whatnot. And it would be cool to find a way to build computers over and over without having to worry about money.

Well, I traded an old arcade machine for a bunch of arcade parts and ect.. So I've only put about $150-$200. The last few parts I need will be about $50-$100 and as of now the re-sell value is $500-$600. It's a Williams Defender Cocktail Cabinet. It's pretty rare and a lot of people like it, but I've never been a fan. Then again, I've never played it on an actually arcade machine. Hopefully I'll be able to finish and sell it soon, so I can move on to the next one.

Lol, that's really weird, I just bought a gold zelda cartridge at goodwill like last week. After a while the nintendo wont read cartridges very well because the metal prongs get so worn out that they don't touch the contacts anymore. To fix it you can open in up and bend each prong upwards a little and it'll work like new.
