I like the name WP. Unfortunately half of the members seem not to fit in with it. They are not on the wrong planet. They seriously believe something is wrong with THEM! I feel sad about that, they seem like fine people to me!! !! !!

I think that WrongPlanet is the perfect name, for this site. I'm not suffering, so Haven.net seems like a pretty silly name, to call this site.

Yeah. Besides, Haven.net doesn't even sound quite right in this context. AS-Haven.net, maybe. But for a single group to claim "Haven.net" as their own is selfish. In this case, a single person, not a single group...

Pretty much again acting as if people with AS are the only people with pain in their lives.

OP, I'd ask you to stop making these threads, but seeing as you make the opening post with self-pity and never check back at the thread, it's all just a waste of time.

So just take 'You're depressed' for an answer and stop with the extreme-inferiority complex. Makes even those of us with inferiority complexes irritated. You can think of AS as a curse, but it's not the end of the world.

Aspergers has also been known to be nicknamed the "Wrong Planet" syndrome.

I can relate. I do not disagree.

Wouldn't typing "haven" only serve to remind you that you're seeking to escape from certain troubles? I agree with what others have said about projection, you're letting your feelings unconsciously go on a rampage and associate words with negative feelings so that those feelings can find a way for themselves to be expressed, probably because they are being swept under the rug and you're not acting on them in the constructive and positive ways which they would prefer. Your feelings make you feel bad as a way to let you know you should do something to improve your situation.

The way I see it when I think of the term "wrong planet", is that yeah, this is absolutely the wrong planet to try and blend in. That may seem like a bad thing, or feel unpleasant, but it only shows you that you're not supposed to be trying to fit in. If you jump out of a tree and try to fly, and fall flat on your face, it'll hurt. That feeling is telling you that you're going about things the wrong way.

The way I see it, it's the wrong planet to blend in... But it's sure as hell the right planet to invade.

People frown on darwinism around here, but some say that mutations can give advantages in the eternal war of living creature against living creature. Sometimes those mutations end up dominating the original species. I have no doubt that there are times when you look at NTs and wonder why they find it extremely difficult to understand concepts which come so easily into your mind that you take them for granted and wonder why NTs are so dumb. You can see what they cannot. That is proof that your "mutation" offers an advantage. In the no-holds-barred competition between creatures, I say that if you can find such an advantage, you better make damn sure you figure out how to use it. This world is packed full of innumerable rewards for those willing to take their chances and put in the work to figure out how to get them.

You don't need a "haven" letting you drift away into a peaceful sleep, oblivious to the real world and its suffering, you need a wrong planet reminding you where you are, what you are, and what you're supposed to be doing that you're not currently doing. Fitting in with the monkeys is obviously never what you were supposed to be doing in the first place.

I love WP's color scheme. Green is awesome when you're blue!

That would be a business mistake. WrongPlanet is already a well developed brand. I imagine you did not think this through and are just sort of day dreaming. If you use Firefox you can just add it to your bookmarks toolbar and have a button for it. You don't even need to go into your bookmarks menu.
