I.

I am reminded of that other slogan, "British and Americans: two peoples divided by a common language". It's a good thing I didn't buy that t-shirt and bring it back to the US when I visited London. It takes on a whole different meaning here.

it has been speculated that smoking is just suicide on a mini level
like as if you haven't go t the guts to do it all at once

my advice - buy a pack of 20 - keep them in the cupboard and
have one when and if you cave in - be aware of the choice each
time

that way you have the choice without the health nazis on your back

You will die either way, but smoking will make you suffer more.

Putting up with a few unsatiated cravings is nothing compared to all the coughing and wheezing and inability to clear your throat irrespective of the fact you try to clear it every 30 seconds.

I used to smoke and I couldn't care less about all the ignorant and inexperienced people who preach against it saying you'll die etc, or those who have been brainwashed to believe that breathing your second hand smoke would kill them too. That's all meaningless BS coming from self-righteous know-it-alls who have no experience, know nothing and thus have no right to comment, but personally when I started coughing all the time and clearing my throat constantly it was just ANNOYING. Health, social reasons, I couldn't care less, but when it started doing something to annoy me personally, there was just no point.

They won't let you "live in peace", you can forget that. Do something constructive with your time and money instead, if you want to feel good. That's what every other living creature has to do, whether it's hard or not.

You've just reminded me of those really deep chest coughs where I used to bring up little bits of sticky jelly from my lungs - they were sausage shaped and had clearly been blocking some of the tubes in the lungs. That all stopped after giving up smoking.
