I love amusement parks, the sounds, the rides, everything about them. Lines don't bother me so much because they go pretty quick (unless waiting for the back or front of the ride) and lines are just part of the amusement park experience. You can't have an amusement park without lines. Rollercoasters are my favorite, especially the wooden ones where you get the feeling of flying out of your seat whe you go over the little hills. Anyways, there's been this special on PBS in the past about Old Amusement Parks and I took an amusement park trip out to the east coast to visit some of those parks after my senior year of high school. We went to like Coney Island among others. That was a fun trip. I try to go at least once to an amusement park, unless someone invites me to go with them as well.

rollercoasters terrify me aswell.... thats why i go on them lol i love the rush it gives me!! even though like when the car is going up the first hill all i want to do is get down... but theres only way to get down !!--- ahhhhhHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!! !

i scream on even small rides, and travelling fair rides... i scream on them all cos it makes it more fun! course my throat is hoarse by the end of the day but so what!

I like the IDEA of theme parks. As a kid I was always vaguely aware that I was supposed to be enjoying the experience. I hate heights though, and that feeling you get in your stomach when the roller coaster drops. I've never been on any big roller coasters, or anything that goes upside down. I hate not being in control.
I love the tea cup ride though (yay for spinning round!) That ride and the dodgems are about my limit...

As for me, I *LOVE* theme parks and roller coasters. I post at numerous coaster forums and take constant trips to Busch Gardens Tampa (if I have a season pass, which this year I don't ).

Oh well, this Monday I'll go to my first theme park this year, Six Flags Elitch Gardens in Denver. Hoping to "credit whore*" the park.

*You'd only get that term if you are an enthusiast.

I love rollercoasters. Luckily, I have two of the best parks within my state, Kings Island and Cedar point.

Nope, deffinantly not for me, tea cup and dodgems too and thats about it!
Too noisey, too many people, lights and music.

Oh, but i do really like ghodt trains....now they're are great.

I went on the rotor with my nieces and nephews, and they were turning upside down. They said come on do it's fun So i turned upside down and it was fun. But most of my boobs fell out of the top of my shirt cause was hanging upside down. The kid running the rid was staring and i couldn't turn around till the ride started slowing down. I was really embarrased

I am a coaster nut. I visit Screamscape every day, I know most records as well as most firsts and all new technology. I visited Kennywood, Hersheypark, Coney Island, Dorney Park, SFA, PKD, PC, Busch Gardens(both), all Disney parks in Florida, both Universal parks in Florida, and Six Flags St Louis. It is a primary obsession.

I used to love going to Amusement Parks, between the Ages 10 and 15. Whenever I'd go to Playland, I'd go on each ride, three times. Once I've hit the Not so Magical Age of 16, my Stomach couldn't take it, anymore.

I've always hated amusement parks, I've gone to them a total of three times and got dragged onto rollercoasters and those spinning rides, but I cannot handle the noises - the screaming, the sound of the gears turning on the rides...and too many people and after the rides I cannot stop my head from spinning until hours later. It's just an overall unpleasant experience for me. However, I admire those who can get enjoyment out of them. It's a shame that I'm not like that.

If I was a billionaire I would build my own personal amusment park. Or an aspie friendly one

With the meds. being cut down a lot, I don't know if I can ride roller coasters or not.
