I know a six year old HFA boy who has a respite worker but is actually mild compared to me at that age.
Ohh, if I went to school these days.

All I have is my mum and my disability employment services.

What do you mean by a support worker? Does this mean a counselor, home aide, case manager, etc? Anyway, this is an old thread but bumping it because it is an interesting question.

I have people who help me with things. I'm guessing you mean supports, in addition to family, friends or one's natural support system (ie relatives).

No. Social workers are too authoritarian for my liking.
