Nah, it's not racist. I have found that I am decidely with the board's creator on that one. It's part genetics, and could be part nurture.

I mean, boys are immature right now and not worth bothering about. besides an occasional menta comment on them. The reason, in part , I am not particulary fond of other races, right now, is that those who are not white, at the moment, tend to have a tendency to behave badly then cry racism the moment they get disclipined which means they have to do this full-scale investagation and usually the minority student ends up getting off with their behaviour.

Yeh, I'm sterotyping, because in my class, for the moment, the sterotype is true.

Racist just means that you discriminate on the basis of race. So yes, you are racist. I am also racist because I do not usually find black women attractive. <shrugs> Many people are racist, sexist and so on but usually it does not pose a problem, as there is nothing wrong with discrimation per se - it just depends on the context.

But no-one can arrest you for preferring your own race unitl you go into racially- motivated crime.. That might be the de facto defintion of racist but it's not really the de jure definition.

I had myself worried there for a moment... but now that I know there are others like me, and that won't hold it against me for prefering my own race, I feel a lot better!

I like black women myself and many have shown interest in me. I mean alot more
black girls than white girls have shown interest in me. Sure I'm white and I find
a higher percent of white women good looking but lets put it like this made up numbers:

2.5% whiite women 27-45 I want you!
1.5% asian women 27-45 I want you!
1.2% mexican women 27-45 I want you!
1.0% black women 27-45 I want you!

25% whiite women 18-26 I want you!
15% asian women 18-26 I want you!
12% mexican women 18-26 I want you!
10% black women 18-26 I want you!

I'm not supporting racial discrimination, but i think that patience and the benefit of the doubt should be given to those curious people who for one reason or another have not been exposed to a multiracial environment and they have no idea whatsoever about what is racist and what isn't. Because when i first started asking questions I was scarred to death somebody was going to get pissed at me, consider me a lost cause stupid racist and hate me forever.

I read once that people generally preferred partners who were as similiar to them as possible Both in personality and appearance [which encompasses ethnicity]...I guess most people are comfortable with the familiar?

Personally I find interacting with people of my own ethnicity easier because of the cultural similiarity. There are subtle differences between cultures and sometimes they make things fun, while other times...they're just annoying A simple difference is that in my culture, turning your foot to show your sole at someone is rude...in Western culture it seems to be acceptable.

Then again, I still believe that when love strikes - there are no boundaries

At the end of the day, who you are physically and sexually attracted to is a matter of chemistry, it's your own business and social consciousness is no part of it. Although it would be interesting to see how a hormonal affirmative action program would be implemented...maybe...

Well don't fashion magazines and other forms of mass media get reprimanded if they show too many white people and not enough people of other races? That's a sort of affirmative action.
