NT researchers now elctrocuting rats to measure empathy

I think this is ridiculous, to be honest.

I know some might find the research useful but I fail to see what's so useful about it. Electrocuting rats to measure empathy? Is this really our priority right now? Shouldn't these people be researching something that could really benefit the world? Cures for illnesses, for example.

A waste of money and a waste of rats.

It just shows how little empathy some of these people in fact have. The rats care a lot more about their fellow rats than the researchers do.
