Looking At Eyes In Films

I have no problem looking into the eyes of people on screen. and usually I can tell what they are feeling, as well.

Now I remember that I scored very high on the 'Eyes' test (can't remember the exact name), above average (presumably NT) individual. I had to force myself to look in these eyes and didn't spare more than half a second on each pair.
Looks like I read eyes (in pictures, at least) correctly only I can't be bothered to look at them.

I don't even like looking into the eyes of cartoons. Unless they are animals. What is really weird though is the old school Sonic the hedgehog REALLY creeps me out becuase he has no irises. He's cute in the Sonic X cartoon but in SatAM and Underground, he's kinda creepy. I was never able to put my finger on it until very recently but it's because he's got no irsis. I thought it was things that had too much detail in the eyes that was supposed to freak me out. But yeah, I don't even like to make eye contact with cartoons.

i dont make eye-contact with movie actors either, and it disturbs me greatly if eyes are prominently on a screen.
i cant even really look myself in the eyes on a photograph that's less then 10 years old (on older ones, i still look like a child, and i seem to have no trouble with them)

I always look away when anything emotional happens. A kiss, someone hurt, etc. Just the exact times when NTs pay more attention.

And I find nearly all acting is bad. All radio acting is bad, without exception. Turn on BBC Radio 4 and you know within five seconds if it's a play or if it's real. From the little I have seen of TV it is the same. So either:
(a) every actor is incompetent
(b) or I am an expert at picking up clues
(c) or I find nearly ALL interaction either fake or pointless.

I think it is (c). I only care when people who are trying to be better. Or people (like here) are trying to survive. The rest? The comfortable, normal people? They spend their lives entertaining themselves while the world burns. I want no part of it.

I know what you mean The other day I saw a big web ad where a woman had one blue iris and one red iris. It wass supposed to look exciting. I thought she had blood in her eye and needed medical help.

I think we avoid eye contact because we get too involved. It means looking into a person's private soul, seeing too much, and being unable to cope.

Exactly the same with me. Movie kisses bore me to no end and filmed violence repulses me. Can't even think why anyone should enjoy looking at it.

^How are kisses "romantic", anyway? It's just disgusting. My mom tells me to look away.
