Strange habits?
Where do you get all of the empty toilet paper tubes? Do you collect them to amass the number you need to do that on a regular basis? Do you carry empty tubes around with you? Those are the thoughts I have from what you've written.

☆ I leave cups of tea to cool down for about 30 minutes before I drink them. Sometimes I keep them for a few hours and only drink it when I’m thirsty, which means I still drink it when it’s cold.
☆ When I cook things like potato gems or chips, I line everything up on the baking tray in straight lines.
☆ When I had to go in an elevator by myself, I stood outside it and waited for it to come back because there were people in there and I didn’t want to be in there with them. Then once it was gone, I forgot I had to press the button for it, and I was standing there for about two minutes, waiting for it. A man came over and pressed it for me. My sister told me that whenever I’m in a lift with other people, I face the wall, away from them. I never noticed that.
☆ I wear shoes all the time when I’m home, even when it’s hot. I don’t like having dirty feet, and I don’t like how the floor feels. My nephew never lets anyone take his socks off him, so he must be similar to me.
☆ I eat potato chips with a spoon sometimes so my hands stay clean.
☆ I like keeping things the way they were when I bought them sometimes. When I bought my MacBook, there was a piece of paper between the keyboard and the screen. I kept it in in there for over a year, until my nephew tore it and I realised I could throw it out because it wasn’t doing anything.
☆ Whenever my parents cook eggs, I won’t use the kitchen for a few hours, even if it means I can’t have my lunch/dinner. For the next few days, I’ll use the cutlery, bowls and plates from the bottom of the pile to avoid using the things that were washed with the eggy things. I usually put them in the dishwasher again if I know they were washed together just to make them extra egg-free.

I can't handle being the focus of attention. Whether it be in front of a crowd or just one. BUT, I am OK in the masses. That is why I have always been alone.
Having been in the military, there are parades all the time. I have been in platoons that have won drill competitions. But, being called out & have to march up to the parade commander to receive a medal is stressful to the point I can't properly march anymore & somehow make it to him, but...
I also can't go top gyms, where I'd have to strip down to change or to get a shower. I keep wanting to go, but that prevents me.
I think I was OK as a kid, then puberty hit me & it all went to pot! I somehow survived though! I'm seeing my neurologist tomorrow for an unrelated condition, maybe I'll ask him about these issues.

I get the empty toilet paper tubes from the bathroom at my house. I also get them at the church bathroom. Whenever I see them, I take 'em off the tp holder and put them in my bag before they get thrown away. If there are no tp tubes around, I find empty paper towel tubes. Whenever I find the empty paper towel tubes. I get a marker, draw a line in the middle, get scissors, and cut the long tube in half so that I have 2 tubes. Yes, I do collect them so that I can use them on a regular basis. Also, I do carry empty tubes around with me. When I'm at university, I put them in the deepest part of my backpack so that nobody sees them. If I need to use it, I either put it in my pocket or in a sanitary pad pouch. So yeah, I'm a weirdo but it's still a pretty clever idea right?

I'm with you on this one. I *can*, but prefer not to. I don't like meeting anyone in the toilets, especially not people whom I know. I also dislike imagining that I've identified someone in the adjacent stall(s) to me by the sound of their cough for e.g. - I've started wearing earplugs to help with this one.
I'll add a related one of my own; I wasn't at the meeting where it was decided that men don't mind standing in a row to pee with their equipment visible. I really don't get on with this arrangement, and I've stopped beating myself up about it and now always choose a cubicle.

I have a shy bladder as well, DrAlan. Side by side urinals are bad enough but those long communal bathtub shaped troughs were you're literally bumping elbows with other men? It's bizarre to me that the practice seems to be viewed as normal.
