I've been told by so many people that I should be a writer because I'm such a bookworm, which is kind of like telling me that I should be a farmer because I like eating corn, but I bought into their hype and tried my hand at writing both fiction and nonfiction. I assure you, the results were terrible. Maybe not Twilight terrible, but pretty bad.
But more importantly, I had no desire to do it. Real writers have a passion for it and feel as if they can't not write. I don't have that at all. I just accepted that I want to consume the art of others, not make it myself.
I suppose I am the complete opposite then. Hehe.
People say I should continue in art, but I genuinely prefer storytelling (as in film and writing).
I'm not a good artist. I can draw, but I can't make actual art that means anything. So often, critiques at school mostly consist of how idealistic or arbitrary or decorative my piece is... Which... Meh.
Here's a copy of another drawing that I did on a piece of cardboard. Yep. I just noticed the right chair arm is much too higher than the left...
Aaaaand here's an original... Eh... And yes his nose is a cigarette.
