I remember when Titanic was popular and teen girls were crazy over it. But when I talked about it, kids didn't like it but in 6th grade they didn't mind it. Same with the Spice Girls. But when I was into video games, kids didn't mind me talking about it. It was mostly Legend of Zelda.

I've always been very interested in vampires and now they got popular.

I don't care except that people might think I'm obsessed with Twilight or got into vampires because of that. I'm not really interested in Twilight

I couldn't care less. When my interests get "popular," I usually don't even notice for a long time.

I actually have a knack for getting obsessed with things that catch on later. For example, "The X-Files" was originally a cult show, as was "Farscape." I was fascinated by serial killers, profiling, and forensic evidence long before they became the focal point of every single "cop show" currently in existence.

I've come to expect it.

it hasnt happened to me yet. Everyone frowns upon my interest in science and scifi - like its a crime to like science or something.
