There is an inherent flaw in this kind of multiple choice test though. I would never have guessed most of the emotions if I the test had given me a blank field to write down the answer. But the predefined choices allowed me to pick one that seemed to make sense.
That doesn't mean I would have recognized the same facial expression in a social situation, without a set of emotions to choose from. In many cases I was just guessing, based on considerations like "wait, I already picked that answer earlier on and it was right, so this will likely be something else".
