Add "what should I be doing with my eyes" and that's pretty close to me. If I didn't wear glasses for my poor vision I'd wear sunglasses all the time just to hide my crazy aspie eyes.

So funny / so true / so sad. But what the hell, gotta go with the laughter.

So my move is to Start with the 'look thoughtfully into space and nod'. Then sometimes when I come back to focus the person has moved on and I'm off the hook. :~)

I wasn't sure before if Randall was an aspie, but after this comic I'm pretty sure. He just understands aspie thinking a little too well.

Edit: ... and now I've gone and spent half an hour reading xkcd
