Hardly ever. I'm quite sure I daydream less often than the average person.

I daydream. Often about theories I have, or questions I have on how things work. Recently I texted my Dad a question about two-dimensional universes at 2am, because my daydreaming was keeping me awake.

Sometimes it interferes with my studying though, and that upsets me.

Me too. I enjoy my daydreams, but they can really mess up my studying. It's a serious problem for me. I just don't seem to have an off switch for daydreams. It's the part of AS that bothers me most - I feel it stops me doing things I really want to do, because I can't focus on things that aren't daydreams.

I couldn't agree more with this! :D

Same here! I've my own imaginary life and world that I go to almost all the time. Plus it's a great escape when real life gets a little hard to handle.

It's called "Maladaptive Daydreaming".

And all this time I thought my daydreaming was the result of all that time spent on tractors with nothing to do.

Yup. That's probably part of what keeps me up at night, but I don't know how to shut it off, nor am I sure that I even want to.

Yes I do all the time, the best thing about it is that Im never bored I dont understand how people can ever get bored. That and I love it!

Anyone else have several fantasy worlds and alternate realties in their head? I've done it since I was kid most of them are based around characters from my favorite TV series with new characters I've made up.....thought I would've grown out of it by now. Now I'm starting to think this excessive daydreaming is with me for life
