Sleep paralysis or something else?
Anxiety will only make it more likely. : ) Drink some chamomile tea or something before bed, try to do something calming and not think about it. When it happens to me I'm generally still too far into the dream side of things to be in full control of myself so there's not a lot to be done. At the very least I no longer fear I'm in a coma, since it's happened enough times. Basically it ends up being a lucid dream state where my only goal is to wake up. I try again and again and always fail, leading to repeated false awakenings. Mostly it's just frustrating these days as I wait for the actual wake-up and worry that I will oversleep, then when I finally do wake it up takes a while before I'm sure it's real. So I'm not the best person to ask. : ) But I also experience constant frustration during normal dreams, so that's probably related.
Basically, if it does happen again, just do your best to remember that even though you can see and feel your body, it's still just a dream. Nothing can actually hurt you and if you are good at controlling lucid dreams, you should be just fine and maybe even enjoy it. At any rate, there's nothing to be afraid of. And if something happens to wake you up (alarm clock, person walking in, etc.) - you WILL still wake up normally. You won't oversleep and no one will find you lying there in a coma or something.
Hi Sweden. I lived there for a while, Falkenberg.
At first the sleep paralysis was very scary.
They always started with a vision. (Not the ones where my body vibrates, they are not scary at all) I remember my first one with a vision, it started off with me hovering over a live volcano. I could see all the malting lava below me, yet felt none of the heat from the volcano.
At the same time I was aware I couldn’t move a muscle, I was frozen to my bed fully aware of this vision and my friend in the bed next to mine. Of course I was afraid, I didn’t know what was happening, so I shouted to my friend for help, then I realized although I was shouting no noise was coming out of my mouth, I could hear my own voice in my head but there was no outside response, my friend could not hear me.
For some reason I shook my head and was released from the sleep paralysis. I jumped out of the bed and ran into the lounge where I slept with the light on.
This is the first time I experienced sleep paralysis accompanied by a vision. This was more than 20 years ago. I no longer have sleep paralysis but I still continue having the visions as soon as I try to sleep. And I still have out of body experiences.
I have a rare autism that goes from one end of the spectrum to the other, my mind speeds up (High Functioning autism, Aspergers) then my mind slows down (Severe Autism.) I couldn't even tell you my name, my world is then in slow motion.
Of course the experts don’t know what to make of it.
If I said that over the last twenty years or so that I’ve worked out exactly what’s happening with sleep paralysis, then some might think I’m crazy. I don’t mind what people think, here goes.
We do have a spirit (The Mind). It sits in our body by vibrating brilliantly, when the spirit or mind slows down we can’t move. That’s when we experience sleep paralysis.
I know and still I can't help but worrying. Getting anxious.

Not sure what you mean to be honest.
