Not really; enlighten me, please.

I was just being flippant really. It is the story of someone who travels to the distant future where the human species has diverged into happy but unintelligent little people living on the surface who are used as a food source by the other creepy subterranean species. If we are diverging I guess we must at some point loose the fussy eating trait lol.

I see; interesting to note, nonetheless.

All right then, I'll say it.

"Idiotopolis"

and the "Honey Boo Boo" show.

The scientific correlation between autism and intelligence is that people with AS are slightly above normal intelligence at average and people with LFA (considerably) below average, both by definition. If you count all autism diagnoses together (to simulate disrespect for those definitions), autistic people are clearly below average intelligence.

The correlation between survival/reproduction and intelligence in western society is that people with higher education and higher income are a lot less likely to reproduce as much as others (at least in my country, I guess that applies similarly to others as well).

...is the next step to say then, that evolution is experimenting with autism, and Aspies are close to the final draft?! :?

I thought it was obvious that I was referring to people with milder autism, like Aspies, I just used the word "autistic" because I thought my idea could apply to some people with an autism diagnosis as well.

Urrm....I'm still only a child, please forgive me for not having done years of research, or investing in scientific studies :P.

I did think about how humans would have probably evolved different types of smarts over time, but I thought if autistics needed more types of smarts, we could have kept some.

I come up with little ideas like this all of the time, I just never mention them. I thought this was a forum, not a university, 'I thought I could mention this one here :P.
I've come up theories (or 'ideas' if you prefer :P) similar to the Aspie=neanderthal one before, I came up with it before seeing anyone else's ideas on it (don't say I say I heard about it somewhere, forgot about it, then subconsciously remembered it later on)(I've done the same with other subjects as well), and I didn't exactly spend long on them either.

Basically, assuming we are the morlocks, we would end up eating NT's for dinner and they would be as a stupid herd of cows to us. Then some NT from the past would make a time machine, come to our time, witness it all, attempt to rescue one of the NT's from the future, fail, and then try to stop us from being the dominant race. XD

We've ALWAYS kept humanity together. We were the people who put the Library of Alexandria together. We were the people who kept writing going in the dark ages in Monasteries. We were the ones we made the enlightenment happen. Only people with such obsessions and lack of social tact ever did this. I posted this before, but I have a running theory that without the mutations which created us, we'd all be living in primitive tribes like all primates had (and others still do) for millions and millions of years. The "great leap forward" was done via Asperger's/ASD. Most humans have their social life as their primary focus in life, which is not all that logical and doesn't get much done, other than breeding. This is typical.

Also, remember, since social evolution is one of my special interests, that social evolution is no guarantee, and it tends to grow and then self-destruct in that pattern, sort of like the dinosaurs and giant asteroids crashing into the earth. Nothing here is shocking, although we only now have the ability to "game" the system due to a handful of us being self-aware, much like we can now "game" the system by pushing asteroids away from Earth if they come barreling towards us. Will we do either of them? I doubt it. But, we actually have the chance to stop ourselves from being destroyed, inside and out, now.

Tia Ghose said, "after the spread of agriculture, when our ancestors began to live in dense farming communities, the intense need to keep those genes in peak condition gradually waned."

Firstly, I contend that there is no anatomical example of human, known not to have engaged in agriculture.

Secondly, consider hierarchy charts, in which an entire, Medieval village is said to support a single knight. It takes many of these people, with no independent initiative, to support the few, who do have it. This is how an agricultural economy really works, like a Ponzi scheme.

Do you have any kind of evidence to support these grandiose claims?
