I think I can have a somewhat husky voice sometimes. My voice just fluctuates a lot from what I can tell, but is always so quiet people never hear me.
I actually have no idea. I don't really listen to how my voice sounds.

I have an extremely husky voice kind of a family think we all sound like we smoke about 40 cigarettes a day I also lose my voice lot after socialising I think that is stress related though yeah I do sound a bit like batman not the best voice

Oops didn't quite finish there, meant to say not the best voice for a female I do get made fun of a lot for it.

Husky is when it sounds like they have been shouting at the top of their voice for ages, or like they have a sore throat


So in other words a husky voice is like sounding like a washed up, cig smoking, drug takin' and scream'n far too long rock star in their middle-old ages? (Chris Cornell, Ozzy etc.) I think I get the picture and no I don't think its an aspie thing.

a husky voice is [for men] to sound like lee marvin. for women, it's to sound like angie dickenson.

My voice is nowhere near husky. It's quite low, which is why I hate it. Because it's low, I'm more likely to mumble or speak in that dreaded monotone when nervous. I know a possible Aspie with a very high, loud voice, and trust me, it makes her sound more social even if she's not.
