Try "Five Hour Energy" or other energy shots. They tend to be better for you and with less of a crash.

I like the taste of it but i've never once felt a buzz or been kept awake by it.

If I drank like 6 cans of the stuff then I'd most likley feel a bit sick.

I'm extremely sensitive to caffeine so a redbull makes me very jittery. I drink caffeine anyway, but it makes me jittery. But I've noticed that if I have too much, it makes me much more susceptible to melting down or shutting down. It heightens my senses even further and can make it absolutely terrible. This past Saturday, I didn't sleep well, and so had a Red Line at work (A very powerful energy shot) and never tried it before. I was shaky, irritable, and then when it got crowded with customers I had to run into the bathroom and stim for a few minutes to calm down because I couldn't control it anymore. So a little caffeine is okay, but too much is a big mistake.

It makes me need to pee every hour and I end up getting nothing done, as I am too hopped up.

drinking it in excess is an extremely bad idea.

I heard once of a cross country runner in Australia who had a heart attack after drinking 8 cans, consecutively. He was exceptionally healthy.

The last time I had a Red Bull was out of a desire to 'fit in' with the people I was around. I was volunteering with people I worked with at a women's shelter; we were fixing up their old daycare/classroom and my job was painting the walls. There were complementary snacks and drinks, and someone handed me a Red Bull (they grabbed a bunch and were passing them out) and I drank maybe.. half of it.

A few minutes later, I was so jittery and hyperactive that I couldn't even stand still to paint. Then, I felt horribly nauseous and had to leave early. So, I avoid energy drinks at all costs.

I've never drank an energy drink.

I tend to avoid caffeine except for whatever is in chocolate. I suspect energy drinks would either have no effect on me or it would aggravate my occasional panic attacks.

Red Bull doesn't do much to me. It seems that anything with a ton of B-Vitamins works rather well instead of being loaded with caffeine.

I find they help me function well at work. Need the boost a lot of the time if we've been away from the station for a long period and I'm in need of coffee! They do make me kinda hyper though. As for having a snickers bar at the same time, well, that's a recipe to have me bouncing off the walls lol. I'm very happy right now as I've discovered that Sainsbury's own brand version, "Blue Bolt" tastes the same as Red Bull, has the same things in it, but is about 1/6 of the price. Happy Days!! !

My personal experience is that none of them - Red Bull, V, Mother or anything else - helped me in any way. They are just expensive soft drinks for me. But some other people seem to have completely different opinions about them.
