Regardless of whether or not a word is accepted by a group, that does not necessarilly make it wikipedia-worthy.
You can't make a wikipedia article on something unless it has media exposure or cultural context.
Once the word enters the lexicon of asd speak, and autistic bloggers and commentators begin to use the word, then it becomes a real word.
Its kinda a good word, in that it is easily identifiable and explains its meaning simply upon enunciation or being read. Already mentioned it is technically not correct, so maybe that is why it may never catch on.
No conspiracy, simply not correct so currently avoided in conversation.
But then there could be a conspiracy....
I mean I dislike a certain group for the way they think, doesn't everyone? Psychopaths often target aspies as they are easy to fool?

Horray for Wiki putting the stake in the heart of the term.
Its a dumb term.
Weve got "ableism", and "neurochauvinism", and "neurocentrism".
You might feel the need to coin a new term. You might be able to argue that prejudice against the neurologically deviant is analogous to racism in some sense. But aspies ( and adhd folks etc) are not a "race" so its not a form of 'racism". So 'neuroracism" doesnt make sense as a term for descrimination against those groups.
I've been trying to get the word "creepzone" accepted. I coined it to mean what happens when a person who has been "friendzoned" in a relationship gets demoted even further. Not even Wikipedia will accept it.
"She friendzoned me last week. Now she won't even say 'Hi'. Maybe I should text 'I Love You' to her a few hundred times ... ?"
"Naw, man! That'll get you creepzoned fer shure!"
Face it: They don't exist. We NaT folk are not equal human beings with equal rights and equal value.
Things like "equality," "rights," and "value" are socially determined. Society determines that we don't have them. Society determines that we are broken, diseased, inferior, and undesirable.
Therefore we are broken, diseased, inferior, and undesirable.
Get that through your thick heads. Save yourselves a lot of trouble.
And if we, as the individuals who are treated differently because of that insane view (that we are broken, etc.), do not question that mentality, it is doomed to never change and people who are different in a neurological way will always be treated badly because people think that way.
Just because it's the status quo, doesn't mean it's right, and until we stand against that mentality, it will always continue. People with neurological differences are human beings who deserve the same respect that the rest of society does, the only reason we are seen as "broken, diseased, inferior, and undesirable" is because people don't like that we're different than they are.
I don't know about you, but I'm not going to just sit by and take it up the *ss while surrendering my right to be treated equally just because society thinks I don't deserve to have that right.

If "society" doesn't want me, then "society" won't get me. I'll take my wealth and move to the Philippines when I retire, and live like a king!
I determine my own destiny.

Exactly, though in my case, I'm doomed to stay here amongst other people because I can't afford to even move cities let alone to another country lol.
I spend a lot of my time though, fighting against "society's" demeaning nature and while I don't think I've made much difference, I've at least gotten the word out that it has to stop.

"neurochauvinism" - I like that one. I wouldn't mind seeing that catch on and get a Wiki page.
It's even better than "Neuronaziism" - the philosophy that people with only one ideal neurology are fit to rule over all of the others, even to the point of determining who lives and who dies - such determination being made solely on the basis of an individual's neurology.
I prefer "Neurochauvanism" - "Neuroracism" is a null term.

Yeah, "neuronaziism" sounds like "neonazism" with a speech problem. Or maybe it could be about skinheads with brain tumors. Who knows?
