She went though all my developmental history stuff from when I grew up as well as the basic diagnostic criteria in ICD 10. Took her 2 months to get to AS conclusion as she had to seperate the AS traits I have from the symptoms of my PTSD and results of sexual abuse, bullying etc. Meant lots of time spent breaking down my cognitive processes and understanding the way I see the world and my thinking and reasons behind my thought processes.

Shes very very intelligent and literally spent several hours a day sorting me out. She didnt say anything about AS until late October when she had all the evidence and info she needed to come to that conclusion.

My mom found the site. (I have no clue how she found it.) Then she email me the address and I looked at. After looking at WP, I joined because it was the first Asperger site that looked like it would be helpful.

i found the website on my phone as i was searching for aspergers in google wap search and it came up with the really old wap homepage

My mom used to pester me to join the "teen board on Oasis". I think she meant the "raising teens and young adults" board.
