Hey, life is way too short. Don't worry about whatever that person said. If you love cute things go ahead and love them. It's certainly not a crime and I can think of much worse things to love. I love cute things and even though I am a girl I love things that are not considered my age. Like someone might tell me that I should grow up. But don't pay them any mind.

Well I'm hardly what you could call a sissy, I used to be a punk rocker, became a biker for a while, and still have a love of rock music and motorbikes (though I don't ride one anymore)

Yet as I type this my pet rabbit is sat in his usual place under my chair, he is the best pet I've ever had, cute, fluffy, very quiet and very loyal (he follows me all over the place). I don't care if people think he's too cute for me because I have enough self confidence to not feel as if I need to prove my manhhood :)

We have a pretty big Flemish Giant and he used to be my avatar. That's one big rabbit! He's three years old and my youngest daughter's. He seems to be getting bigger still. I think he's just getting fatter now though. He does enjoy playing with her new kitten though. I should get the kids to take some pics of that and post them.

What do you mean? Did they tell you that you should dislike cute things in general or something specific, or did they tell you that they didn't think you should like a particular thing as much, or did they tell you that they didn't like it?

Everybody has their own idea of what is cute and what one person thinks is cute, somebody else might think is horrible. An example is that I don't care for very many stuffed animals. Most people think they are adorable, but to me they just aren't that cute unless it's something special that strikes my fancy. I'm not against them, I just don't want any for myself although I have no problem getting them for my girls who still like them even as older teens.

Maybe they didn't mean that they wanted you to dislike cute things, maybe they just meant that they didn't care for what it was at all. Just because I dislike something doesn't mean my kids or friends have to. What exactly was said to you? I'm hoping it was a misunderstanding.

Someone i know has a Flemish Giant, so I know what you mean about being huge! Leo is a six month old Lionhead, so is still pretty young :)
