i love pets. but when i was little, the family cat got hit by a car and died. everyone cried but me.
now im a dog person. i don't know if the 2 things are related. but maybe they are and instead of crying because my cat died, i just did not get attached to another cat.

In school people thought I was cold and heartless because I did not start feeling sorry for the people in the story like they did. Maybe I am but I veiw it as a survial sill. Maybe there is something truely wrong with me or I am cold and heartless because I can feel things for animals while I don't feel anything for people.

My emotions are stronger towards objects and animals, than they are towards people. Objects and animals can't hurt a person. People hurt people all the time.

If anything, I have too much emotion, and I tend to be very expressive with it. Even when I'm calm, it still shows. I never learned to wear masks and to hide my feelings as much as it is required.

The excessive candor scares people off. Nobody likes being bludgeoned by strong intimate emotions when having only just met a person, but then this is the only way of relating to people that I know.
