You want to find someone who is experienced in evaluating for ASDs in adults. It's hard to find, but they're out there.

I disagree with you I get an 1hr appointments from my Psycologist.


Yeah, a Psychiatrist is a Medical Doctor who is somewhat trained in the disorders listed in the DSM/ICD. They are trained to diagnose and then dole out meds.

A Psychologist is most often a PhD in Psychology (on occasion a Masters level), but never went through medical school. They cannot prescribe medications without getting certified in that area. Many do not because it's a new area for Psychologists and the insurance attached to it is incredibly expensive ($100,000 per year). But there are many different areas of Psychology and thus many kinds of Psychologists. The type you are seeing is most likely a Clinical Psychologist.
