Ok? I don't think I have any non-graphing calculators with me and do not remember the M button. I was just mentioning that I memorized it because the memory game I played was slightly better than being bored, I always got done early on tests and I do not know all of the circumstances, this was years ago.

it was a dumb joke about the TI89, never mind.
btw the "M" button was memory. u could store a num in memory, clear the screen, do other s**t, then restore the number.

We had pi to 50 decimal places written over the blackboard in our 7th grade math class. That's how I first memorized it.

3.14159265358979323846264338327950288419716939937510

I think I know 128 digits but I won't post them in case I'm wrong.

I've never really bothered to memorize any numbers since I don't use them much. I usually just use the variables through any calculation and if I need a number answer, I just use the pi button on the calculator. I've always been awful at memorizing, the only things I can manage are simple physics equations and other equations I use constantly.

when u quote it, do u hear that almost musical sound to it? 3 point 1 4, 1 5 9 2, 6 5, 3 5, 8 9 - 7 9, 3-2-3, 8-4 ... etc
i can't write it well but if you do, im sure you know what i mean.

edit:
i just remembered of someone who knows the square root of 2. i never thought this number had any importance, but has any1 else every memorized it? i know it to like 5 digits from seeing it in trig but thats about it.


square root two is relevant to right triangles, it is an awesome number
