I thought non-verbal learning disorder WAS an ASD.

You seem to have both Aspie and neurotypical traits

What would these results mean? Been told here I must be a "half pint".

Yes. Me. I'm NT. Couldn't be more NT (I mean, I guess.) Married to someone I suspect is on spectrum. When I was younger I definitely had more AS traits. Why? I dunno. Learned behaviour? Weird response to being very intelligent a bit introverted and raised by a narcissist? Being a bit ADD. Who knows?

is there an NT test lol

.

I don't know but I'd take one if there was lol.

NT diagnostic criteria

When people say you have aspie traits, that means your brain is not autistic in the way it processes things. In other words, your brain is normal. However, you have traits that many aspies posses have which could be due to your personality rather than a disorder in the brain.

I wonder what about people who do process things in an autistic way but still don't have enough for the label?

I always interpret having aspie traits as having symptoms of it but not enough to meet the criteria which can be bad because some people fall through the cracks. They have a significant impairment but not enough to fit the criteria of something. That is the reason why all these NOS labels exist such as PDD-NOS.

I think I'm either up there on the spectrum or the world's greatest hypochondriac. Like in a bizarre and creative way, I'm trying to find something in common with my dad. Do dad issues ever get resolved lol
