How long can a person go without food AND water?

Two days without fluids and there is a chance of irreversible kidney damage iirc from a poster I saw in an institutional surgery once.

Minor comment: Many people confuse thirst with hunger.

forgetting to eat is what led me to eventually being diagnosed Aspie. I have always been this way, and one day I googled it..... and here I am, a genuine certified ASD. yay.

Medical marijuana helps me eat regularly.
Otherwise I tend to be a tad bit nauseous most of the time, even though I get really crabby when my blood sugar gets low so I know I should eat.
I also tend to get hungrier once I've had some food.
I prefer to eat quite a bit, on a regular basis, as I feel much better when I do.
Unfortunately, circumstances being what they have been I've failed to do so completely recently.

All this talk of food is reminding me I haven't eaten much today.
Time to venture forth from the cave and prepare sustenance for consumption.

I have the opposite.

Lately I haven't been able to recognize when I am not hungry or at what point I have eaten more than enough.

I don't forget to eat but I always forget to drink water. I only drink it, when I start to get a headache due to dehydration.
