If you're more sensitive to light, maybe you could try sunglasses or glasses with tinted lenses, or it wouldn't hurt to ask who you happen to be with if they could possibly dim the lights and use a few plug-in lights or lamps vs. overhead lighting. Lava lamps can also be a nice alternative to obnoxiously bright overhead lights - they generate enough light, and they're fun to watch. :)

i do ware sungglasses.
but i did not like people looking at me when i was waring them in winter.

Yes, yes, it's exactly that way for me, too.
Me three. I definitely have that issue. It is also possible that lighting technology is changing and lights are actually brighter just like with car headlights. That would cause increased sensitivities.

I noticed that even outdoors I been getting more sensitive over time and it keeps getting worse.
