I have drank one cup a day for decades; I don't get a "buzz" from it but I do enjoy it. I also like to buy 6-8 different kinds of coffee and mix them up for a unique flavor.

Caffeine has little effect on me.

I don't drink coffee. I hate the smell of coffee, whether it's freshly made or still in the package. I can't remember if I've ever tasted it but judging by the smell I think it would taste nasty.

But yes caffeine tends to have that effect on me. It makes me drowsy. Sometimes I used to drink a Coke to help me go to sleep at night.

Coffee increases my anxiety and thus makes me more susceptible to meltdowns and challenging behaviour. Also it makes my tics worse. I avoid it. I have a jar of instant coffee in the kitchen but that's only because I know my dad and one of my support workers both like coffee.

I love coffee, but I don't think it has a very noticeable effect. I can get either a little perkier if I drink one cup or agitated if I drink two big ones, but I'd survive without it in the morning. I get the impression a lot of people need it after awhile, while it's mostly ritual for me.

It effects me the way its supposed to. Perks me up in the morning.

And I notice when it wears off three hours later.

My mom actualy liked the taste of the stuff.

I got into drinking it just for the buzz (cramming in school late at night), and only slowly aquired a liking for the taste of it.

Coffee makes me extremely drowsy, but prevents me from falling entirely asleep. When I have coffee running through my system and I try to sleep I end up in a sort of half-sleep where I can't really fall all the way asleep but am too sleepy to keep my eyes open. So I drift back and forth between different stages of sleep including REM.

However, caffeine from other sources will keep me awake, so I guess it's something else in those glorious beans.

I really like coffee but can only drink decaf because caffeine causes my heart to race and usually ends up causing a panic attack. Same goes for soda with caffeine.

I don't drink coffee often (I'm a tea person), but caffeine doesn't have any noticeable effect on me unless I consume a stupid amount.

I love coffee, but hate the effect that the caffeine has on me. I get a huge rush just getting the espresso machine ready. I am very sensitive to the effect, and will have a poor nights sleep if I have more than one cup, or if I have one cup for several days running. It got so bad a couple of years ago I had to quit drinking it for over a year, my anxiety was out of control. I'll have a cup once in a great while, and get upset if its not well brewed, I feel I've wasted my allowance.

I love tea as well, and can drink several cups a day, day after day without getting the Jeebies. Its a much more mellow effect.

I love the taste of coffee, and have been drinking coffee regularly for years. It only has an effect on me when I drink a lot of it, I think. Also, I don't feel different when I skip drinking coffee for a week or so.

I like coffee, black coffee....don't like putting a bunch of crap in it, just good strong, black coffee....I guess i like real expresso with like steamed milk but no sugar or anything sweet, if my coffee tastes such a way that I'd want to mask the taste with cream and sugar, why am I drinking that coffee? I also avoid gross starbucks coffee, don't see why people waste their money on that.

It does not have opposite effects on me, I tend to brew my own in which case I have multiple cups, and certainly does not make me tired.

Well, it depends.... There are times when I drink coffee, and it knocks me, right out (puts me to sleep); but, then, there are other times that I drink it, to wake me up----like, every morning----so, I don't know what that's about, and haven't been able to figure-out on WHAT it depends. Also, if I drink too much (more than 2 cups), I get jittery.
