Online, I actually find easier to be around a lot of people when talking to one person. I noticed this while talking to PelleK on the website we are on. It's easier to talk to him on Twitter because there are others around to see our chat, and I don't feel as flustered and awkward talking to him. He does know I have autism, and he's such a total sweetheart. I thought for sure he'd be mad at me for bothering him too, but it turns out he was really happy about it. >/////<

Anyway, I think in real life... this might be different. I tend to hate being in groups because I can't keep track of what is going on with a bunch of chattering people. :/

I always felt that I can only interact with one person at a time. Though even better if that person is pleasant and someone I like, for if the person is unpleasant, I'd better deal with him in a group as to make it more 'anonymous'. But I really feel lost if i am forced to talk to a group, when I 'find' myself talking, I suddenly shut up and feel a weird sense of 'otherness', as if I was listening to someone talk, but not myself, as if my words were foreign to me... And if I have to make a presentation, I would find myself suddenly 'wake up' in the middle of it, and question myself- why do all these people stare at me like hungry animals? I feel like they are waiting for something and I feel I have nothing to do with it at all... So, all in all, I find one on one contact the most genuine and honest form of interaction at least for myself and when there are even more than one people, I feel kind of jealous, because it seems that the third person takes over the conversation and I am pushed out of the circle. And being in a group makes me behave weird, like, if I ever dare to speak (when I was younger, I would never dare to), I start saying hateful things, trolling others and behaving in an antisocial way, later I find it disturbing and have no idea why did I do that in the first place...
