The T and S sounds. I like the way they feel when making them; I think the sound is a secondary attraction for me. I also tend to drag down the long i sound and tend to put an Irish or Scottish or British tilt in my words. Makes talking more interesting. Worse when I have been watching BBC shows like Call the Midwife because I am picturing those characters when I talk. I don't know if this is a stim though; probably just a quirk.

I also make a sound kind of like a Wookie when laughing, or when I feel pressured inside from concentrating or from emotions. It's the vibration from it I think, not the sound.

I set things down too hard, shut doors, tap things, shake things for their sound. Not to mention listening to the same song or songs on repeat for one or more hours.

I have many depending on my mood. If I am really happy or excited I'll say 'cookie' a number of times, most often if I am alone or just with my family though. Around someone I dislike I'll quietly say 'pigmen' over and over. Have many more but they get even stranger.

When i'm anxious I make noises,

like:

"LALALALALALALALA"
"DUDUDUDUDUDUDU"
"NUNUNUNUNUNUNU"
"BUBUBUBUBUBUBU"
"POPOPOPOPOPOPO"
"WOWOWOWOWOW"
"YOWYOWYOWYOW"

Usually a combination of the above.

Typical autistic vocal stimming and one of my more visible stim's.
Helps me focus. Funny at work when i don't realize i'm doing it.

I have a few. I think I sniff more than I need to. I only realized one time after having recorded myself talking for an extended period.

A couple of years ago I began to try to learn beatboxing, and I learnt how to do a tongue click that I was quite proud of. Anyway, I ended up doing it all the time until it got to the point where I'd be doing it while thinking, punctuating my sentences with it, and it was driving my girlfriend insane. I managed to get rid of it eventually though. :P I only do it in private now.

I also like blowing raspberries on myself, or making high-pitched squeaking noises between my lips. Again, this is something I tend only to do in private, or when around people whose opinions I care little about. I'm also just about able to do it silently, or at a very barely audible level.

I also sometimes start humming a little tune when I get really bad thoughts. In particular it's when I get the thought of "oh no. I really f****d up there didn't I and now it's going to come back to haunt me? :(". You know the sort of stereotype 'innocent whilsting' that is a trope in TV or comedies? That's sort of how I hum in that situation.

Sometimes, but it's usually when something excites me. I tend to squeal and laugh kind weirdly like. O_o

I make a lot of sounds, but I don't really consider them stims because to me stims are things that give me an endorphin rush, which I don't get from most of them?

The exception is counting/chanting "one-two-three-four, two-two-three-four, three-two-three-four, etc..." or "one-two-three-four, five-six-seven-eight, one-two-three-four, etc..." both of which I do pretty frequently, generally while stimming with my hands, and calm me down a lot.

My brother used to make fun of me because sometimes I would get distracted and just sort of go "aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh" for a long time, doing weird untranscribable things with my voice. Other times I "tick" my tongue, or repeat words over and over, and sometimes I chant or sing nonsense rhymes. When I'm walking or driving, I sing to myself. And I make cat sounds a lot, or mutter or babble to myself.

Yep.
I do the humming a high note down to a low and visa versa,in private that is!
In public i can start humming a pitch and then turn that tone into a tune that starts with that pitch of tone.
I only realised recently that this was a stim after thinking about why on my own i just stick with the tone and it twigged,i do it in public but change it so as to not draw attention to it.
Doesn't quite satisfy though as a single tone is soooooooooo satisfying. :D
Maybe why i love Robert Fripp's Frippertronics so much.

Repeated tones overlaying again and again into infinity with a sublime solo over the top.
Just awesome.
Or Fripp & Eno on No Pussyfooting or Evening Star.
Mmmmmmmmeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrllllllllllllmmmmmmm. :P

I click my mouth a lot and sometimes I make these, uh, drumming sounds.
I wouldn't really call it beatboxing, though some people thought it was really neat.
Aaaand I've noticed I make a groaning sound when something unpleasant happens. It's definitely not deliberate and probably makes me seem like a 6'2" Eeyore.

When I'm feeling energetic, I make all kinds of silly sounds.
Weird to think it most likely is related; I've been doing it for as long as I remember, so it just kinda is.
No one pays any attention to it normally, but sometimes I'm a bit embarrassed afterwards.

I growl. Repeat words I've said over and over again, usually just one word from what I've just said. I make a popping sound with my lips and click my tongue, like i do one then the other quickly, if that makes sense. And I make a high pitched noise, can't really describe it though.
