The peace has finally been restored in my home.

It is the place I can be myself. Without trying to hide behavior (which takes its toll), although I try not to slam doors.

When I'm home alone, given.. I rent a place to live at the moment (my cousin rents with me, but she really only comes here to sleep..), I'm usually very relaxed to the point of being lazy.

At work, I'm under so many demands for my contribution/attention (most of which I slightly enjoy, just not the public/retail aspect of it).. I just don't want to do anything at home. I'm usually on the computer doing writing, chatting with a few online art and writing friends, and fiddling with garden things if I don't plan a day outside of the house (at least on days off).

I use to associate home with high stress, and still do from time to time.. But I think it'll pass when I move to an even better situation.

Yes, I feel most relaxed when I'm in my room. Then I don't have to pretend I'm someone else.

It's kind of boring. I spend a lot of my time on computer or just hanging out with my girlfriend.

I'm happy at home.

I think the concept of home was invented for aspies. I am a homebody and almost everybody I met in my life are puzzled by my preference to stay at home. No wonder that I am a homemaker.
Why do people ( particularly NTs ) get puzzled ? Because they think that home is a boring place. Maybe they live with boring people. Or maybe they are extroverts. Maybe they live with their abusers. Maybe they do not have any special interest that can be carried on alone, without anybody's help or assistance. But for Aspies, home is special and it plays a central role in their life.
At home, we do not have to pretend to be someone else. The faking games that people play outside comes to an end at home. But especially for aspies, home is very important. It is the extension of their soul. More than the home, it is "the room" actually. Aspies feel safe and good in their own rooms-which is the extension of their head/heart or soul.
You can say that you may travel all over the world, but there is no place like my home/my room.
