Does raw meat bother you?

I also take precautions, the one not mentioned here yet, I keep raw meets on the bottom shelf of the fridge so that no juices can contaminate other items if spilled. I use separate cutting boards (or do other things first) and use separate knifes. After finishing that task I transfer dirty items to the sink and clean any used surfaces.

I'm more fussed about reheating rice due to the bacteria you can't kill.

Unpasteurised milk and soft cheeses can be an issue. Over ripe fruits, esp. melons. There's a dirty bloke who comes knocking door to door selling eggs recently so I've stopped eating eggs if at friends houses.

The more athletic-times of my life generated such hunger that I needed to consume meats in order not to go hungry again wthin only the next two hours (because when you're exercising that much you need a lot of food to fuel all of your energy-consumption). The OP of this thread also reminds me of a video I saw from a Psychic-Medium™ some years back (but unfortunately it's been since removed from You-Tube for some reason).

Basically, a spirit™ was possessing™ the medium™, and trying to talk about how watching chickens being eaten was painful, then saying that watching the chicken-meat being digested was also painful, and then saying that watching all of the chicken-meat then being pooped out into the toilet was painful, due to the fact that it was identifying itself as being the chicken or having been a chicken before turning into a spirit™, and making statements about how eating meats is eating the very flesh of your own family members, and that this spirit™ wanted to insist that everybody should only be a vegetarian so as to not eat their own families.

When I e-mailed The Messiah™ about this "spirit™-channeling™" session, his response was that it was just some 'insane' spirit™ talking through the medium, and that it was definitely not the chicken that it had 'observed' as being eaten & digested. Although I cannot seem to find the specific e-mail right now, I recall that The Messiah also mentioned something along the lines of indicating that belief in vegetarianism had more to do with 'insane-spirits'™ (i.e.: incorrect religious-beliefs) than it did with either health or 'salvation'™ purposes.

I am certainly willing to eat certain kinds of raw-meat but I no longer trust most of America's food-supply (and Russia has a complete ban on American™ food™ due to the health-risks of consuming American-imports [not that most Russians chose to eat American-food™ anyway as the vast majority of them had still always preferred Russian-produce])

So they are banning wine, coffee and tea imports?

Russia is so nationalistic its funny, also funny is how they don't mention that this is a reaction to the "West" boycotting them in the first place because of Ukraine and them shooting down passenger airplanes and such.
