Have you ever, on a plane/train trip, started to "hear" music in the rumbling/humming/clacking noise? I remember as a kid trying to fall asleep on planes and starting to hear rhythms and even basic melodies in the hum of the airplane. We also had a noisy dishwasher in the house when I was a kid that made a repetitive sound, and I would hear a beat in it.
