Most of the time I'll do my own thing, and only occasionally go out of my way to adhere to whatever someone else is doing.
A good example are roof rabbits. People around here are quite fond of them, they like to catch them, enslave them, give them ridiculous names, and ascribe all kinds of human emotions and characteristics to them. This would be fine if it wasn't for the fact that they taste absolutely delicious, and their fur is so soft that it makes a good material for winter clothing.
That being said, if someone I know is really fond of their roof rabbit, I don't mind treating it as non-food for as long as it pleases them.
