did people hate you for no reason?

People, don't like me. Except weirdly, enough Teachers... They either like me or absolutely despise my Existence. My First grade teacher tried as hard as possible not to get me in her class. She even tried to delay me a grade. Though , she Claimed it was, because my Sister had ADHD and was bad at reading and so was my Autistic brother. But little did she know I was one of the top readers in the school later. How Ironic.

Yes, that happened to me a lot when I was growing up in one particular place. As strange as it may seem now to me, I reasoned that it must be the result of something that I was fated to do to them in the future that caused the problem.

I wish people didn't hate me.

Heck, you're better than me. Took me a while to realize auntblabby was being nice to me. And, I did the cowardly thing and PM'd him. Shoulda done it here....just took so long to understand it.

I've had people hate me for reasons unknown to me.
I've also been left out and ignored.
Other times, I've had people act like they like me then inexplicably drop me.
I'm sure they had their reasons...
Were they any good?
I have no idea.

Yep, me too. But, like I said before, in my case, I'm the only common denominator.

I would agree. My observation is that is usually something unfulfilled in them that they turn on others.

If you watch closely, there will usually be some made-up reason.

A neighbor told us that he was "concerned" about our trees. A leafless stick was interpreted as a dangerous insect infestation, and would cause the house to burn down. What bad people we were. He didn't like us anymore. He cursed and took photos and sent them to building code inspectors. When they were removed (with considerable expense and grueling effort) a pool was installed.

Someone recently brought a toddler, into my household, who was forever losing his ball, over the garden gate, as an excuse to go in there.

I noticed someone who "didn't like me," on the date of his dead (sorry) mother's birthday. Nothing I said came out right. Words were spoken, against me, which can never really be taken back, and it was all ok after that date had passed, every year.

Most every interaction is symbolic or has some double meaning, even when they are unaware of the pattern.

Assuming that you're not a genuinely-terrible person, which some people really are, there is always some reason that is not a real reason. I believe that this an NT trait.

You give them a dirt-stupid, Karl Childers or Forrest Gump explanation for anything, and they think you're leading them on. This is what they expect from people -- a reason to do wrong. It's sometimes called a victimhood narrative or parallel construction. Always with the shoots and ladders. It's like talking to a Rube Goldberg device, to get to the bottom of the smallest thing.

I like how people I have met from every culture, at one point or another, try to lecture me that according to 'their' old sayings: "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." Kinda strange how every culture has laid claim to that one. It's their saying, nobody else's. Everybody else stole it from them.......

Who gives a crap? Ain't wisdom for everybody?

As for what's an NT trait or not, I wouldn't know. Heck, until 6 months ago, I thought I was just an oddball and not much different from everyone else.

IMHO, nobody on earth "owns" anything, the lions' share of humanity either have brutally appropriated things for themselves or otherwise just borrowing things but not knowing of the true ownership, thinking things their own.

Good luck holding that opinion up in a court of law.
