Usually people I touched gets the shock instead of me. :lol: No one ever grounded me with a touch.

In a way, I find it funny that whenever I'm getting on one with others, I'm the one to get the shock. Everyone who knows me will just comment "Again?". Well, it's as long funny until it happens again, then I'll likely be grumpy again. :lol:

The shuffling of feet or materials rubbing against each other would have been my only explanation for that.

No, not much carpet at all (only about 8 meter in the entrance).
It is laminate or concrete or polyvinylchlorid or wood like stairs, but i get still skocks all the time, the cats coming up the stairs with me, i pet them and we get a shock,
but i don't think it has to do with autism, as there is another autist as well and he does not get the shocks permanently.

That is very peculiar. Maybe it's something with the material of you shoes or clothes. Very interesting.


No, by that logic i would receive shocks at other places too and i don't get shocks at all at other places, only in that place and i have entered the theater also with other shoes and clothing in the summer for example i do not wear the boots i am wearing now though i have spent a few summers wearing boots as well and i even went to Spain in boots in the summer of 2010, but they were not lined like the ones i am wearing now though i got those as a present in Spain beginning of february this year and were wearing them there as well and there are 10 wild cats at the property i always stay and i could pet them without getting any schocks.

Analog radios don't like me. They start emitting static noise whenever I'm near.

Also, I some years ago, as part of diagnosis process for my MS, they put me on some machine to measure speed of electricity transfer or something like that.
After couple of minutes doctor started screaming at me:
"Stop blocking my machine! You gonna break it!".
Go figure.

I was in really bad shape then, in middle of MS relapse, so I could not answer, and I didn't want to answer, I actually just wanted to chop her head off for screaming at her patient.

As for static, now I'm regularly discharging (grounding) by holding bathroom tap while water is flowing.

Ah, so THAT explains it! I tend to "skate" when I walk no matter how hard I try to avoid it. The shocks were so bad in my brother's old place I used to wear gloves and long sleeves.

Apart from that recurring phenomenon, it's pretty rare for me.

I am no fan of escalators either. :x Darn it I can't stand those things.

As for electricity, yes I am very sensitive to even minor jolts. They don't hurt or anything but they are annoying.

I don't think it has anything to do with Autism honestly, some people are just more susceptible to it. It could be perhaps internally, one's body chemistry and whatnot, who knows. I don't even think scientists know 100% how electricity works even though we utilize it and use it everyday.

I hate being zapped and it's a phobia I've had since childhood. I used to be more ok with it and shock my classmates in a room that would buildup static we would play around and torture each other. After awhile I just got extremely scared of it, maybe because I got one zap that I still remember till today, man that sh*t HURT!
