-Music, particularly metal.

-Science(I am always fascinated by scientific discoveries and such, but I don't get the mathematics aspect very well as my math skills are probably worse than a 5th graders). Also it can be interesting to look into unexplained phenomenons and such...like stuff they talked about on that ancient aliens show...however I think a lot of stuff that particular show suggested was pretty far fetched I take peoples theorizing on it with a grain of salt.

-Science fiction especially the sort that gets you thinking or is at least disturbing.

-Fantasy, currently Game of Thrones in particular but I liked lord of the rings, I always like fantasy themed video games, movies and books. Also just like the concept of things like dragons, trolls, orcs and such is pretty cool, I have also been painting miniatures of such things which my boyfriend introduced me to.

-History is also interesting to me, right now I am most curious about Vikings and Nordic history. In the past I was way into WWII like have read about battles and a lot of the war stuff, the holocaust and reading about survivors of it and how they survived, French resistance which the sure as hell never mentioned in school, but they did a lot to sabotage the Nazis. Also watched a lot of historical fiction/documentaries.

-nature, plants/herbs, mushrooms/fungis and animals is also a big one

-psychology and sociology

-drugs and how they work, what they do and their medicinal properties

My younger brother who has autism is currently into collecting model trains at the moment. He's more of a collector-impulsive-obsessive person. He has a lot of collections ranging from Pokemon cards to Coke paraphernalia. And he's so proud of them he dreams about owning some kind of collection museum someday.

I've always referred to my special interests as obsessions, because that's what people around me call them.

My main obsessions (I don't feel comfortable calling them special interests) are the RMS Titanic, the Gardette-LaPrete mansion in New Orleans, the Harry Potter series by JK Rowling, anything relating to psychological horror, the Five Nights at Freddy's games, anime and manga, and blood.

I don't have any right now; I haven't in years.

I guess I'm pretty into Magic: the Gathering, but it's just a hobby I enjoy and I know plenty of NTs who are way more devoted to it than I am so I don't think it's an autistic thing. Kind of just fell into it because some lab partners in a class I took played it a lot.

I don't know if I really have any "true" special interests, but I do have strong interests, but I am not sure if they are any stronger than NTs interests. I have many of these.

-Cats

-The Sims

-Psychology

-Politics

-Certain Musical Groups (Great Big Sea and Spirt of the West are my strongest)

-Traveling

-Dystopian (sp?) fiction

Science has always been a very strong special interest. I have been interested in physics, chemistry and engineering topics since I was quite young.

I used to have a big interest in the movie Coraline, I watched it 121 times, after that I stopped counting lol. I'm actually rewatching Coraline right now, I remember a fair amount of the script still.

I have fairly impressive collections of Rubik's Cubes and Legos (including a Lego Rubik's Cube which I made by replacing the stickers with Lego bricks). I havn't added to them for a while though. I also love debate, even though I am not very good at any sort of live debate. If I can take time to come up with what to say though then I am quite good.

For most of my life zoology, and more specifically herpetology has been my special interest. I lost a good bit of interest in that around 2011 and by 2012 the history and music of the Beach Boys was my strongest interest. That's still going, alongside it are some more minor interests in chemistry and video games.
